NOTES: NOS (New Old Stock) carburetor floats for the Zenith Model 29 carburetor. These were made for the US military during WWII and are about 75 years old. These come still packaged in their WWII Dodge marked boxes. They appear to be in perfect shape under the cosmoline wrappings. This float was used on many variations of the Zenith model 29 carburetor, including the White M3A1 scout car, the M8 and M20 Ford armored cars and some generator units. Other military applications may also exist.

During the war, there were two different carburetors used on the 3/4-Ton and some 1 1/2-Ton Dodge WC trucks. One was made by Carter (ETW1) and one was made by Zenith (Model 29). These floats are for the later, “cast iron” type Zenith carburetor. These may also be used in many applications where the model 29 carburetor is used (i.e. Scout Car, Armored Car?). Civilian applications likely also exist..
