NOTES: NOS post-war filter element for the Zenith fuel filter. These differ from the WWII style in that they use aluminum discs rather than brass. The endcaps are brass, but the inner discs are all aluminum. This style of filter element was used on all WWII Dodge trucks and post-war M37’s (up to vehicle serial 8042292). At that point, the filter was moved from the firewall to an in-tank type of filter. Additionally, Onan may have used filters that used this type of element on it’s stationary generators.
