NOS M38 Jeep Speed and Caution Data Plate (1ea)

NOS M38 Jeep road speed caution data plate. The part numbers are G740-76-97562 & WO-801820 . To the best of my knowledge, this data plate is corrrect for all M-38 Jeeps. One is required per vehicle. Other Post/WWII military applications might also exist. Use your manuals, inspect your trucks, ask questions; know what you are buying! I do not accept returns.

As can be seen from the pictures, these data plates are NOS. They appear to be made of brass. These were purchased from a water well drilling company here in Paso Robles, CA some 20 years ago that used 5-Ton military trucks as the basis of their truck fleet. I would guess that these came along with auction lots purchased at either Camp Roberts, Camp San Luis Obispo or Vandenberg AFB in the 70’s and 80’s. These are not reproductions, these are the real thing. You are buying one each.

I have not tested this item. Although new and unused, there is NO warranty implied or expressed concerning the functioning of this item. This item is an antique and nearly 60 years old. I do not accept returns.
