CONDITION: Well-used, post bound into vinyl binders. Some spines peeling. Some pages dirty. Complete set, volumes 1-24 present. Two per binder. Organized by REF-FSN-OSN.
COMMENTS: Very rare, complete 24 volume set of cross-reference of reference numbers. These are rarely found in complete, dated sets. This set will allow the cross reference of Mfg part number (ie GPW12345) to Federal Stock Number (FSN)(ie 1234-567-8901) to Ordnance Stock Number (OSN)(ie G503-01-23456). These were published in series, where SM 9-3-1 was the cross reference of manufacturer or reference numbers, SM 9-3-2 was the cross reference of federal stock numbers, SM 9-3-3 was the supply management data (which listed end-item application only), SM 9-3-4 was the cross reference of former ordnance stock numbers. This set replaced the ORD 5-4 series, last printed in 1954.
