After hearing from visitors about the high shipping rates being returned on our shipping calculator, we have gone back and made adjustments which should help with the number of returned rates from the various shippers. We’ve changed the dimensions on many items to help ensure that smaller boxes can be used. Height seems to be a key factor in which box sizes that will be returned on the calculator, so we have reduced the height of many products so that more can be placed into a single box. As a result, the dimensions you now see listed on the product page may no longer be “true” sizes of the product.
First class international should now be available for orders of less than $80USD. This method of shipping was exlcuded earlier due to the lengthy transit times overseas. It has now been reinstated for small value orders. Please expect at least 2-3 weeks, or longer, for delivery if you use this method. First Class International does have some size and weight restrictions. Also, tracking is very limited. This is why we have decided to limit the order value to $80USD or less.
UPS should now be returning rates as long as the shopping cart weight is at least 15 lbs. This seems to be a point at which USPS and UPS rates start to diverge where UPS is cheaper by comparison for “heavy” domestic deliveries beyond this point.
