TERMS & CONDITIONS

All items that we sell are NOS or used OEM vintage merchandise. We do not sell reproductions (repro or NEW MFG.) unless specifically stated as such. All items are subject to prior sale. We have multiple selling channels active at any one time. If you are afraid the item you are interested in may be gone when you need them, then we suggest you buy them rather than wait. Our inventories are very limited and restocking an item that is sold out is generally not possible. We only rarely offer quantity or volume discounts online. We may be able to combine shipping on multiple items, so please check in with us prior to Saturday or Wednesday (shipping days).

 

PAYMENTS

 

Cash

We can only accept cash at events. Please do not send cash through the mail or by other means.

 

Credit Card Payments with PayPal & Stripe

We recommend using credit card and debit card transactions to pay for your orders. These will be processed through either PAYPAL or STRIPE. You do not need a PayPal or Stripe account to use your credit card to pay for an order. When using PAYPAL, they will handle the processing. We will never have access to your credit card account numbers. If you are having problems using PayPal or PayPal seems to require an account, please use STRIPE instead.
Stripe is a merchant credit card processor accepted world-wide. The transaction will be processed on our site. You will not be re-directed to another site. There is no need to open an account with Stripe.

 

Checks/Money Orders

We will accept money orders, personal checks, certified, and cashier’s checks. Checks must be drawn on U.S. Banks, in $US funds. Personal checks will be held for five (5) business days prior to shipping of product. Money orders and cashier’s checks will be held for three (3) business days.
By selecting check payment at the time of checkout, the items you wish to purchase will not be removed from inventory and will remain available on the website until the payment is received. At that time, I will remove the items from inventory while your check payment is processing & verifying.
You must have the payment posted to us within ten (10) days. If we have not received your payment by that time, your order will be cancelled. Please indicate if there are circumstances that would prevent this at checkout. We would be flexible as long as the request is reasonable.

Wire/Direct Bank transfers (BACS)

We cannot accept or send direct wire transfers.

 

QUANTITIES LISTED

What we list as quantity available is relative to what we have immediately available. We may have more stock of this item at another storage facility. As we can’t predict how often, or when, I will travel to the other facility, we prefer to leave the quantity amounts reflective of what we know we can ship within our 3-day processing window. If you see an item listed as sold out, we may retrieve and relist more of that item once we have had a chance to retrieve additional stock or obtain additional stock from another supplier. This system would not pertain to manuals as each of these are unique listings.

 

OFFERS

I have provided a system for accepting offers on selected products. Once you have created an website account, you will be able to see the “Make Offer” button on eligible products. Even if you receive a decline of an offer, I may respond with a counter-offer. The buyer is responsible for paying shipping over and above the agreed product offer price. The offer availability on product will be determined by us.

 

RETURNS

We do not generally accept returns. Please use your manuals, inspect your vehicles and ask the experts before committing to a purchase. If there is a question about an item, such as size, condition, etc., please ask before you buy. Do not expect to return it if it isn’t what you want. If I send something that is not what you ordered, then please contact me. The responsibility of researching what you need/want is yours.  I have provided thorough pictures, descriptions and dimensions of every item on the site to make it simple to readily identify what I am selling. If you need a measurement or additional photos of a product, please let me know prior to purchasing.

 

SHIPPING

 

Domestic Shipping

Buyer pays shipping based on actual USPS costs within the 50 states. Overcharges (actual vs. charged) of shipping will be refunded through PAYPAL or STRIPE to the nearest dollar. Insurance and tracking will be added. Handling time will be up to 3 days after payment is received. Shipments will only be made on Saturdays & Tuesdays. Orders must be paid by 8:00am (Pacific) on Saturday to be shipped on that day. For shipping on Tuesday, your order must be paid no later than 5:00pm on Monday. If paid later, the shipment will be mailed on the following Saturday. Shipping by UPS can only occur by special arrangement.
Domestic shipping options will be limited to UPS Ground, USPS Retail, USPS Priority, USPS Priority Express. UPS ground will only be available when the parcel weight is >= 25lbs.
Shipments will be made twice a week. (Wednesday & Saturday). Orders placed and paid on Saturday after 8AM (Pacific), Sunday, Monday and Tuesday prior to 5PM will be shipped on Wednesday. Orders placed and paid on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday prior to 8AM will be shipped on Saturday. All large or oversize parcels will only be shipped on Saturday.
Show/Convention delivery (aka local delivery) is only available for the local CA meets or national conventions for which I or a representative will attend. I will enable this option for orders prior to a show or convention (typically two months in advance of the event). This option will be removed after the show and will revert to the standard shipping options. I will only allow a maximum of 60 days storage of ordered items before the actual event. Please check in with me before you choose this shipping option. I will reserve the right to cancel and refund orders left for more than 60 days without shipping being paid.
We have been mailing packages for years. We are adept at providing ample layered protection for your purchases. It is common for us to over-package and pay the additional weight of shipping to be sure that your parcel arrives without damage. Remember, we do not want damages in shipment either, as most of what we sell is irreplaceable. There is no need to request that we take extra care or add additional packaging to your purchases. We do that already.

 

 

Direct International Shipping

Buyer pays shipping based on actual USPS costs. Insurance and tracking will be added. Overcharges (actual vs. charged) of shipping will be refunded through PAYPAL or STRIPE if the difference is greater than $2. Handling time will be up to 3 days after payment is received. Shipping by carriers other than USPS (i.e. FedEx, UPS, DHL) can only occur by special arrangement.
International deliveries can be by USPS First Class International (Up to 4lbs.) and <=$60US, after that, >4 lb. or >=$60US it will be by USPS Priority International, USPS Priority Express or USPS Global Express Guaranteed. USPS shipping insurance is not available on USPS First Class International deliveries. Shipments will be insured to their full purchase price shown on the customs forms. Tracking will also be provided.
International buyers be aware, when customs declarations are required, I will value the items at the purchase price. Customs duties and import charges (VAT) are solely the responsibility of the buyer. I will not falsify customs documents.  Buyers must provide a local phone number, so that if there are customs difficulties in the buyers nation, local officials can contact you to resolve the issue.

International Package Forwarding Services

There are companies that will allow you to ship multiple packages to a common US address. They will consolidate these packages into a single larger package, complete customs forms and then ship the single box to you, saving you the expense of multiple international shipping charges. We do not recommend these companies. This approach may save shipping costs, but, be aware, they will likely open your packages to complete the customs documents. So, if you don’t want a 70 year old package opened, you should consider shipping direct from us. Also, since these services will be responsible for customs/importation, you may not want to send any “marginally restricted” or “questionably permitted” items using this service. (i.e. inert or deactivated ordnance items). These services may be very restrictive about what they will ship, please investigate this prior to choosing their services. We have already had one parcel returned because of this.
We do not endorse or recommend any of these services.

 

Personal Package Forwarding

If requested, we are able to ship to a domestic address on behalf of international buyers. These domestic deliveries will normally be friends or relatives who are willing to receive and re-ship your parcels. You will need to provide the recipients name and full mailing address. We may at our discretion ship these packages using USPS “restricted delivery” meaning that only that named person can receive the article. This will ensure that our delivery is completed. We will not have any further responsibility beyond the delivery to this domestic address. Articles lost beyond this point will be the responsibility of that person/shipper.
